The Digital Dream starts as an apparently-straightforward novel on the subject of computer hacking but develops into something different. It's a commentary not only on the abuse of technology but also the way in which the media can be used to manipulate public perceptions, in this case of politicians. And there's a good, sad love story for good measure. It's both readable and thought-provoking.
