America. A Poem

Part of the globe ends
By the stars a line
We crossed alone
Seas not mapped yet
We drank Indian blood
stole and shared
until the doubt of navigators
became hope in immigrants

Rus

Deaf to the land below us
We live alone
Miles ahead nobody hears
They made beauty mute
Beaten by the cold
In silence I create

Clouds running
and the sky is not serene
one less hope
becomes one more poem
evening goes
